Designed specifically as a swiftwater and ice rescue life-line, this multi-use floating water rescue rope utilizes a kernmantle nylon double-braid sheath for maximum abrasion resistance and a monofilament polypropylene core for flotation. This unique construction allows efficient use of prussik knots, ascenders, and hauling systems not possible on conventional polypropylene ropes because of slippage and damage to the sheath. It is also spliceable for a true working strength of 5300lbs, making it ideal for high-load situations.
