| Warm Thermal underwear is essential to your comfort in cold weather. Nothing will keep you warmer in winter or cold weather than the right thermal base layer next to your skin. Cotton or Polypro long underwear traps heat from your body forming a layer of warmth next to your skin. To maximize your warmth, you need the right thermal underwear fabric for your environment and level of activity. Polypropylene is a great synthetic thermal underwear fabric for high aerobic activity in cold weather. When you sweat, you want the perspiration to be pulled or wicked away from the skin by your thermal underwear and then dried as quickly as possible. Polypropylene thermal underwear does just that. It also retains its warmth even when it gets wet. If you prefer all natural thermal fabrics next to your skin then 100% merino wool is what you want. Merino wool is very soft, unlike regular wool. It has all of the same great insulating features of regular wool. You will pay more for merino wool thermal underwear, but you definitley get what you pay for in comfort, performance and quality. For extremely cold temperatures, you want our thicker cotton thermals or our fleece polypropylene underwear. All of our thermal underwear and winter clothing products are available year round! | ||
